About Us
Phoenix Baton Club’s mission is to provide quality opportunities for the physical and social development of youth through the sport of baton twirling. We have certified instructors leading a range of baton, dance and acrobatics classes here in Regina, Saskatchewan.
Your daughter/son will receive quality instruction from certified instructors. All of our coaches are certified through the Canadian Baton Twirling Federation and the Acrobatic Arts Academy. Class sizes are limited in size to ensure a safe and effective instructor–to-student ratio.
Our baton classes include a strength/flexibility component as well as a dance component. As the amount of training increases, the amount of time dedicated to each component increases. As such, Phoenix Baton also provides training in jazz, ballet and acrobatics.
Beginner classes are structured around the Canadian Baton Twirling Federation’s “Skills Development Program (SDP). This program offers15 skill levels that students progress through and are evaluated against a national standard.
For students interested in additional challenges, we offer three streams of competitive programming that will prepare athletes for provincial, national and international competition.
Phoenix does not have a mandatory fundraising requirement. However, fundraising opportunities (bingos, chocolate sales, etc.) to offset program fees and other expenses are available upon request.
